6. What is CCTV networking structure? Explain.

 Nowadays everyone talk about CCTV facility for security purpose, but still they don’t know what the full form of CCTV is. The full form of CCTV is Closed – Circuit Television.

Basic components require for CCTV network are

• Cameras: The security cameras of a CCTV system
• DVR: The security DVR is the heart of a CCTV system.
• CCTV Cable.
• BNC Connectors (Bayonet Neill–Concelman connectors)
• CCTV Power Supply
• Tools

Basic Structure of CCTV

History of CCTV

The first CCTV system was installed by Siemens AG in Germany in 1942, for observing the launch of V-2 rockets Walter Bruch a German engineer was responsible for design and installation of the system. And in the U.S. the first commercial CCTV system became available in 1949, called Vericon. Later it spread across the world.

Definition of CCTV

CCTV is a device which is commonly used for the security purpose. It is used for recording or capturing the live footage. This CCTV camera is attached with DVR (Digital Video Recorder) for storage of recorded footage and to DVR LED is attached for live display.

Working of CCTV

CCTV is closed circuit Television, means the video recorded cannot be transmitted to an outside device. CCTV cameras, LED and recorders all are connected to provide instantaneous access to security footage. CCTV allows you to watch live recording of whatever is being recorded. The CCTV footage recorded can be stored, for future purpose. CCTV cameras are generally small and unremarkable. They can be placed either on the exterior or interior of a building.
